As the summer ends I seem to turn my cooking attention to savory meals, that you just can not get off those summer BBQ sessions. This is the perfect time to start enjoying delicious stewing meat that just tends to melt in your mouth with every chew. Stewing meat is always a tough cut of meat and should be seasoned and stored in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours minimum but if you can do 24 hours then even better. The key to getting the meat to its soft point is to make sure you boil it in a beef broth for an extended period of time, so this meal tends to be ideal for when you have a free day with a lot of hours on your hands. The searing is another important part of this recipe because it will hold the juices in the meat as your spiced beef works its way to perfection, make sure that you add a favourite side dish to go along with your beef. Rice, vegetables or any of your favourites should be served along side your meat.
