Classic Grill Cheese on Multi Grain

Sandwich recipes

The classic grilled cheese sandwich, I have always wanted to be able to make this simple recipe, but not just make it, I wanted it to be delicious, so delicious that you would think, why did I not make another. It took a few tries to get it to that point but I feel that I have finally created a recipe that I will enjoy for years to come and that others will also enjoy. The best part of this meal is you can eat it in the morning, afternoon or at night. The key to a classic grilled cheese is simple, you have to find the right bread and the right cheese. I used a multi grain Bavarian bread and natural cheese slices, the ones you get from the deli counters at your local grocers, do not use processed cheese. I preferred a canola/vegetable mix oil but if you do not have that regular oil is just fine. You can also use any deli meat that you like, I decided on hot salami and went with medium cheddar cheese slices. The spices at to the taste so I would recommend that you do not substitute them unless you don't have any.
